Name/Nick Name: Libby
Where are you from: Boston MA
Favorite Joanna Song: Only Skin
How/When did you first hear Joanna: I forget... oh jeez. It was like three years ago or so. I think maybe I saw the cover of Ys or something, and I was interested... so I downloaded Emily, and fell in love.
Other Favorite Musicians: Tori Amos (hehe...), Ani Difranco, Rammstein, HIM, Dave Matthews Band, Laura Veirs, and more...
Other tidbit you'd like to share: eh, I dont know... I think one of the reasons I love Joanna's music (specifically Ys) is because it takes me to a different time... I love certain periods in History and Ys takes me there.

Name/Nick Name: Kirsty Where are you from: London Favorite Joanna Song: (Haven't decided yet) How/When did you first hear Joanna: Early 2007 two friends almost simulatneous introduced me to Joanna. A local friend London friend played a few of her songs and right around then Jessie also sent me a link to the Peach, Plum, Pear video. I am really into harps so I was immediately interested. Harps are a popular traditional instrument in Wales where I spent most of my childhood. When I was 11-12 years old I took harp lessons and now I wish I'd continued as it is a beautiful instrument. Joanna plays lovely music and I like her songs and her style of performance. Other Favorite Musicians: Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Kinks, Joni Mitchell, Madness, Kirsty MacColl, lots of other 70s & 80s bands incl. Morrissey/The Smiths, The Cure, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Charlotte Martin, Regina Spektor, Fiona Apple, Björk Other tidbit you'd like to share: I enjoy making zany high-speed time lapse style videos on youtube (callytimecat) and dip in & out of creating soundtracks for them (often I just find audioswapped tracks). My musical abilities are limited but my dad has owned two harps since the seventies - & although not used at present one day I hope to get them tuned up & start playing again
